CPPIA firmly supports the OCS program in China to demonstrate the association's commitment and support for a clean environment, and to encourage enterprises to join the global effort to prevent plastic resins loss and preferentially use the raw materials and services of enterprises which participated in OCS program.

OCS is a non-profit commonweal program. CPPIA is the only entity in China authorized the use of OCS trademark to members, and is responsible for the work and financial management of OCS China program.

The enterprises following can apply to participate in OCS program: plastic resins (including recycled plastics) manufacturers, polymers additives producers, transportation and storage enterprises, plastic products producers, research and test related enterprises.

The members are required to fulfill their obligations, such behaviors will be deemed to be automatically waived or disqualified OCS program membership: do not pay annual dues, do not meet the standard requirements of the OCS program and so on.
